Bayview Poultry Farms
Three Wind Turbines
The Situation
It all began with a simple discussion at the kitchen table. Glenn Jennings, owner of Bayview Poultry Farms in Masstown, Nova Scotia, was looking to reduce his power bill. Bayview’s 12,000 layers produce 10,000 eggs daily. The housing, grading and cooling facilities consume 110,000 kW of electricity annually.
